Back to school

Here is a double feature about acclaimed educational academies.  The recommendation is first from 1980, "Fame" followed by, from 1973, "The Paper Chase."  For all but the most rarefied student these institutions will be a world apart.
"Fame" is a look into the New York City High School for the Performing Arts.  It has an ensemble cast in a story about the education and personal discovery of several students from auditions through graduation.
"The Paper Chase" is a look into Harvard Law School .  It stars Timothy Bottoms, Lindsay Wagner and John Houseman in a story about competition, ambition, and the education of first year law students.
Both films are rich with the kind of sights, sounds, and personalities particular to the disciplines their respective schools so famously teach.
