Bank fraud

Here is a double feature about gambling with somebody else's money. The recommendation is first from 1999, "Rogue Trader" followed by, from 2003, "Owning Mahowny." For everyone who thinks self preservation will win out before the stakes get too high, here are two cautionary tales.
"Rogue Trader" tells a tale based on the true events of how Nick Leeson harmed Baring's Bank. It stars Ewan McGregor as the general manager of a new operation in futures markets on the Singapore International Monetary Exchange.
"Owning Mahowny" tells a tale based on the true events of how Brian Molony embezzled money from the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce to support his gambling addiction. It stars Philip Seymour Hoffman and Minnie Driver.
Both movies give the average viewer a sense of how gamblers raise risk, win or loose, with each new morale compromise.
