Pursued

Here is a double feature about healthy paranoia. The recommendation is first from 1975, "Three Days of the Condor" followed by, from 2002, "The Bourne Identity." For those who like to think that there are no common men once circumstances become exceptional, these are plots for you.
"Three Days of the Condor" stars Robert Redford as Joseph Turner, a bookish CIA researcher who gets pulled into a world he only normally engages with on paper. Quickly on the run for his life he relies on Faye Dunaway as Kathy Hale, a photographer he has a chance encounter with.
"The Bourne Identity" stars Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, an anmesiac who is chased by his unknown past for unknown reasons. Quickly on the run for his life he relies on Franka Potente as Marie Kreutz a will-o-the-wisp he has a chance encounter with.
Both movies are about men who in a time of mortal crisis are forced to rely on strangers whose only reason to help is initially the sex appeal of these guys in trouble.
